Marketplace Performance Summary

Alert volume ran hot: 111 marketplace signals all settled, with 102 bettable and 9 skipped. The day closed 74 wins against 28 losses on £510 staked, yet overall P/L finished at a slim £4.60 — proof that a strong hit rate does not always mean a fat ledger once prices are applied.

Most of the upside sat in one standout filter. That system alone banked £46.25, while several other filters worked against the day’s green close and kept the wider book near flat.

Matchday Insights

SoccerScanner tracked 875 completed matches at 2.8 goals per game. Over 2.5 landed in 49.8% of fixtures, Over 3.5 in 30.7%, and both teams scored in 47.5%. Late drama stayed material: 140 games (16%) produced a goal after the 80th minute, and 172 (19.7%) after the 75th — including Rangers’ 1–2 Scotland Premiership defeat to Hibernian after trailing 0–1 at the 80th, Zulte-Waregem’s 2–1 Belgium Pro League turnaround against Genk from the same 0–1 scoreline, and Shandong Taishan’s identical late flip to 2–1 over Tianjin Jinmen Tiger in China Super League.

Featured scoring ran hottest in Scotland Premiership, which averaged 3.25 goals across four matches — Over 2.5 in 75%, late goals in 50% — capped by Hearts’ 4–0 home win over Dundee United and Celtic’s 5–1 away win at Kilmarnock. Belgium Pro League was next at 3.0 goals over five fixtures, with Over 2.5 and BTTS both landing in 80% of that slate and late goals in 60%. England FA Cup averaged 2.88 across eight ties (Over 2.5 in 62.5%), while China Super League sat at 2.83 over a twelve-match round — Over 2.5 in 58.3%, late goals in half of those games. Portugal Liga Portugal closed at 2.75 goals from four matches.

Lower-league ceilings climbed higher still. Germany 3. Liga, Sweden Division 2: Vastra Gotaland, Japan J3-League, and Czech Republic FNL each posted a perfect Over 2.5 rate across small samples — averaging 5.67, 5.0, 4.0, and 3.75 goals respectively.

The floor told a different story among featured competitions. Netherlands Eredivisie averaged just 1.75 goals across four matches, with Over 2.5 in only 25% — a sharp contrast to Scotland’s open Premiership board. Zero-goal regional cups and state leagues were discarded as incomplete or unreliable samples.

Expected-goals readings that cleared quality checks told a clearer story than recent noisy boards. Moreirense scored 2 from 0.22 xG at home to Sporting Braga in Portugal Liga Portugal, and Braga also overperformed with 2 from 0.93 xG in the same fixture. Hearts converted 2.44 xG into 4 goals against Dundee United in Scotland Premiership, Zulte-Waregem turned 0.52 xG into 2 against Genk in Belgium Pro League, and Energie Cottbus scored 3 from 1.54 xG at home to Hannover 96 in Germany 2. Bundesliga. On the underperformance side, Feyenoord managed only 1 from 3.65 xG away at Sparta Rotterdam in Netherlands Eredivisie, Hannover 96 scored 1 from 3.14 xG at Cottbus, and Dynamo Dresden, Motherwell, and FC Twente each drew blanks from roughly 1.6 xG in Germany 2. Bundesliga, Scotland Premiership, and Netherlands Eredivisie.

Shot data underlined the same finishing swings. Across the full day it took 1.68 shots on target per goal (4,112 on target, 2,448 goals), and 49 sides registered 10+ shots on target. Celtic posted 16 on target and 5 goals away at Kilmarnock in Scotland Premiership; Benfica had 11 on target for 2 goals at home to Academico Viseu in Portugal Liga Portugal; Hannover 96 managed 10 on target for just 1 goal at Cottbus. Conversion leaders included Energie Cottbus (3 from 4 on target, 75%), Moreirense (2 from 3, 66.7%), Shanghai Port (3 from 5, 60% in China Super League), and Hearts (4 from 7, 57.1%). Blank or near-blank boards included FC Twente, Alverca, and Henan Songshan Longmen — each with multiple shots on target and no goals — plus Rangers converting only 1 of 9 on target in their late Premiership reverse.

Form runs kept pointing forward in Germany’s second tier. Hannover 96 and Nürnberg each arrived on 12-match scoring sequences, with Nürnberg also carrying a 9-match Over 2.5 streak into a 3–0 win over Dynamo Dresden. St. Pauli sat on a 10-match BTTS run and a 12-match conceding sequence before drawing 1–1 with SpVgg Greuther Fürth, while Ajax extended a 12-match scoring streak with a 0–2 win at PEC Zwolle in Netherlands Eredivisie and Benfica arrived on the same 12-match scoring run ahead of Portugal Liga Portugal action.

Overall, it was a high-volume global session with a thin marketplace edge — Scotland and Belgium carrying the featured goals, late drama scattered across Asia and the Low Countries, and one dominant filter doing most of the commercial lifting while the wider book stayed only just green.
